1992
Apex founded by Karen Chadwick, backed by the Enterprise Allowance Scheme, run by Manchester TEC. This government initiative assisted people to set up their own business enterprises
The first service provision was a day shift to Nursing Home In Tameside on the 7th December. This quickly escalated to the provision of staffing solutions to a wide variety of clients including hospitals and specialist services.
1995
Duke of Westminster Award for Business and Industry – Start Up Category (North West)
Manchester Evening News – Business of the Year (Finalist)
Developed our own “in house” Training Division and opened 2 additional Network Branches
1996

Propria Persona – A 5 Year programme developing and raising awareness for Healthcare Services for ethnic groups

Apex was first recognised as an Investor In People, (and has since been re recognised every three years to date)
