Upon receipt of your initial application, you will guided through our recruitment process by a member of our recruitment team, on hand to answer any questions or queries your may have.
Telephone Interview
Following on from your initial application, a member of our recruitment team will conduct a short telephone interview. During this short interview, we will ask you about your experience, qualifications, current place of work and the type(s) of work you are looking for. Based on your answers, you will either progress to the next stage or be declined.
Face to Face Interview
For those progressing onto the next stage, your will be invited into your local branch for an interview with one of our recruitment consultants. This will be an opportunity for us to find at more about you, and for you to find out more about apex, the work we do and where you can contribute to the care and support we provide to thousands of people. During the appointment you can expect the following:
• you will be required to complete our thorough application form
• complete our equal opportunities monitoring form
• you will be asked to complete an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure,
Your recruitment consultant will also check all your relevant paper work that you will have been asked to bring along with you. A check list will be sent you, along with conformation of your appointment before your interview date. A copy of the checklist can also be found here
Processing your application
Upon successful completion of the application process, we will send off your CRB form for completion, contact the references that your provided on your application form, and request any further information that may be required.
When all mandatory information is returned to Apex, and has been thoroughly checked by your recruitment consultant, you will be booked on to our Basic Care Course or Induction course, depending on your previous experience. More information on our training courses can be found here
Ready to Work
Upon completion of your mandatory training, and confirmation that all required documentation is present and correct you will be classed as compliant and will be contacted by a recruitment consultant to be booked into your first shift

Throughout our recruitment process, which conforms to Care Quality Commission and the NHS Framework Agreement procedures, our trained and experienced recruitment consultants will be on hand to offer guidance and advice.
