The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator for health and adult social care in England. As the health and adult social care regulator, CQC ensure that we continue to provide a service that meets the Common Quality Standards.

To ensure that we are performing to CQC’s strict guidelines a regularly inspected and graded. These inspections are unannounced and vary in frequency and type and will included:

•   Self assessment – where we are asked that we do well and what we can improve on
•   Talking to our Service User to ascertain their view on our quality of service.
•   Look at our staff recruitment and training process
•   Ensure staff fields and care/support plans are up to date
•   Look at how are Service Users are being cared for
•   Assess how are staff are supervised when working with individuals

Based on the outcomes of the inspection, CQC will formulate a report, detailing all they have assessed and also award us a star rating based on their finding.
