• Written references from a candidate’s previous two employers
• A full employment history (with all gaps explained)
• Verification of a candidate’s identity
• Verification of NMC PIN number
• Work permit status (if applicable)
• Verification of qualifications and training certificates
• Sex Offender’s Register
• Declaration of physical and mental fitness
• Immunisation status

This vetting procedure meets with external regulatory and contractual requirements

Training
Every staff member is subject to a formal induction and if training programme. This process ensures that all staff are qualified and competent in key areas such as moving & handling, health & safety, basic life support, infection control and food hygiene. An ongoing programme of accredited training courses enables candidates to continue to meet our strict quality criteria.
