The Role
Apex is currently seeking Mental Health Heathcare Assistants for long days and night shifts in the Liverpool area.
As a HCA on a hospital ward/ unit your role is to support the Qualified nurses in providing care and support to patients.
This may include:
- Personal care (toileting , washing , dressing),
- Assistance at meal times (uncovering food, feeding & monitoring that patients are eating)
- Communicating with patients, ward staff and families
- Observations (which may include taking blood pressure / temperature)
- Completing relevant charts and paperwork
- One to one work with individuals on a mental health ward/ unit
Required Skills
At least 6 months UK experience within the field of healthcare including the provision of personal care.
