Lyn Leitch,
CQC Registered Manager

Lyn has been with Apex since 2005, and is our Registered Care Quality Commission Domiciliary Care and Nursing Manager. Leading our Homecare Team, she brings an in-depth understanding of the field of health and social care. Mary McRobert,
Complex Care Manager

In 1978, Mary qualified as a State Registered Nurse, and became our Complex Care Manager in 2005. After gaining several years’ experience as a Staff Nurse on an Intensive Care Unit, she progressed to role of Senior Sister / Manager of the Unit where she excelled for 12 years. Recruitment Team

The Recruitment Team’s first responsibility is to interview and assess the suitability of all potential staff. They help to maintain a constant stream of new applicants to join our team of carers, enabling us to meet the care requirements of new and existing clients. Prior to the worker being placed on to their first shift, the Recruitment Team ensure that all new applicants have the correct documentation to comply with all Local, Governmental and Contractual requirements, and have attended all relevant training.

Bookings Team

The consultants in the Bookings Team are responsible for placing external agency staff into work placements for the NHS, Social Services, Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Network Housing and Private Hospitals. They ensure that the correct calibre of staff match the specific and relevant client requirements.

The Bookings Team also assess staff availability on our bespoke database to match them to specific client requirements. Such as grade of staff, time of shift, and whether the staff member is familiar with the ward / home. They deal with all nature of bookings such as bulk, individual, regular and last minute.

Homecare Team

The Homecare Team allocate staff to provide care for Homecare clients, and those individuals who live within their own home but require some assistance from healthcare professionals to live independently.

The consultants in the Homecare Team are responsible for ensuring that all Homecare clients receive the appropriate care that has been requested at the correct allocated time, that no visit is missed, and that the client is at no time vulnerable. All efforts are made to try to send the same staff to the same clients on a regular basis, helping to ensure continuity of care, reassurance and familiarity for the client.
