Apex Health + Social Care and Lounge 10 featured in the Alsager Chronicle
After our successful Alsager luncheon club event hosted by Apex health + Social Care and Lounge 10, the Alsager Chronicle have given us a fantastic write-up of the day.
Alsager Civic kitchen manager Anne Black said of the event: “When Apex contacted me asking if we wanted to do this I jumped at the chance…we had to close for a period in October last year because we did not have enough cooks and it’s looking like we are getting to that point again.”
Alsager luncheon club has been operating since 1978, offering locals the chance to socialise over a hot meal.
Gourmet restaurant Lounge 10 offered its catering staff to provide delicious home-cooked food for the event. Head chef Marcus Humphrey said: “In every community centre we’ve visited so far the people have really enjoyed the food and it’s nice because they appreciate something different.”

On Thursday 14th February, Apex Health and Social Care will be attending the Stockport Council healthcare event “I Love My Healthcare Market” along with senior care staff and trustees from the organisation.
The event will provide staff, partners, care users and the families of carers with the chance to find out more about the choices they have over their own care and support.
As well as offering information to those within the care industry and persons who utilise care services, “I Love My Healthcare Market” will also give attendees the opportunity to provide feedback on gaps in the market and the services they use or work with.
We invite anybody interested in the healthcare industry to come down and visit our stand on the 14th February from 11am to 4pm at Stockport Town Hall, Edward Street, SK1 3XE.
